What does Jesus mean to you?
The Wayshower
Toni King, Unity Minister, Unity Center of Reno
Jesus, the Wayshower, is Master Teacher and Elder Brother. He isn’t my “Savior”, but my guide on the path to knowing personal salvation. “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I go to the Father.” Jesus’ life purpose was to show humankind the inner path, the way to the ‘Father’. Jesus wasn’t asking us to believe in Him as the Son of God, but to follow his instructions for self-realization that we, too, have the Christ-potential.
In choosing the Twelve Apostles, Jesus surrounded himself with energies that would support his mission to raise the vibration of humanity. Each Apostle exemplifies a God-trait we can also call forth in consciousness. These Twelve Powers are celebrated at Unity Center as we prepare for the birth of the Christ-within this Christmas Season.

Advent Series 2025
“Advent is a time of anticipation as we prepare for the symbolic birth of the Christ in us. During this holiday season, we look for the innate goodness of others and see them expressing on a positive and divine level.”
Rev. Toni King’s Lesson: Life of Joy
Jesus, as the light of the world and the prince of peace, came to remind us to seek God in all things and expect joy as a part of the journey. Living a life of joy is a simple habit to develop, and one worth the endeavor.
Affirmation: #1: I am open to the experience of joy.
Affirmation: #2: I am a radiant expression of light, love, and abundance. I choose joy!
