Is world history compatible with existence of all-knowing, all-powerful, perfectly-good God?

Absolutely Not!
Toni King, Unity Minister, Unity Center of Reno

Our world history is compatible with our limited willingness to recognize God-within and move from that center. As humans evolve in consciousness over time, so does the progression of our understanding of God. The more in-tune we become to God’s Will, the more frequently we’ll see the demonstration of the Divine on planet Earth. But, boy-oh-boy, we have a long way to go!

Why is this? Humans focus more on external factors than on internal, spiritual reality. We are the hands and feet of God, yet our world is a reflection of our thinking. God isn’t watching us mess things up while pondering, “Why can’t my children seem to get it together?” God is All-Good and Grace can intercede, but only as our consciousness enables us to receive Good and act upon it. Ultimately, to see heaven on earth, we must be willing to lend control to a Higher Power..

Lenten Series 2026: Release and Reimagine

Lent is more than a season of preparation for Easter—it is an invitation to transform ourselves. These weeks provide an opportunity to release thoughts that discourage us, habits that hinder us, and beliefs that keep our lives small.
But once we clear away what has been holding us back, how do we move toward our dreams? What uplifting thoughts or habits can we adopt? We can be anything we can imagine! Reimagine What Life Can Be

Rev. Toni King’s Lesson: Reframing Your Life

We can use the Power of Imagination to create a new frame of reference and open ourselves to the possibilities a challenge presents, allowing us to see it from the highest, most optimistic and constructive perspective.

So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that
are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that
are on earth.—Colossians 3:1-2
