Wherever you are on your spiritual journey you are welcome here!

At Unity Center we offer a positive and practical approach to Spirituality. We embrace the universal truths in Christianity as well as other religions with an emphasis that moves humanity toward oneness through love and forgiveness. Our focus is in creating a healthy relationship with God, which is Love itself through prayer, meditation, and practicing The 5 Principles.

How do you discern God’s guidance in difficult decisions?

Releasing control
Toni King, Unity Minister, Unity Center of Reno

When facing difficult decisions, listening for the still small voice of Divine Guidance begins by anchoring ourselves in the awareness of God as the Presence within us. This is not about seeking a specific answer but rather moving into a state of relaxed openness where we can hear the inner promptings of Spirit. A practical way to do this is to take a pause and consciously practice deep, rhythmic breathing to move out of the mind’s fear and into heart-centered stillness.

Once centered, ask: “Is this choice rooted in love or fear?” Fear-based decisions often involve a sense of lack or an attempt to control an outcome, whereas guidance from the Divine brings a sense of peace, even amidst complexity. By releasing the need for a particular result and focusing on our oneness with Source, we align ourselves with abiding inner wisdom, allowing the right path to unfold naturally.

It’s all about ME!…..the Co-Creative Process
